Description
A picture taken in Verdun. If there was a building in this town unhit, I did not see it. There is an underground fort at this place large enough to take care of 10,000 people. From an album of Lorain H. Cunningham, who served in the 129th Field Artillery during World War I and was a friend of Harry S. Truman.
