Three unidentified National Guard soldiers stand in a trench they dug during training at Camp Doniphan, Ft. Sill, Lawton, Oklahoma. Camp Doniphan is where Harry S. Truman and the 129th Field Artillery took his training in the National Guard before leaving for France in World War I.
