1:00 pm Performance by Mariachi Azteca

1:30 pm to 3:00 pm Family Activities 

The celebration will feature Mariachi Azteca from the Guadalupe Centers High School in Kansas City, MO. Join us for live music and family activities.

Hispanic Heritage Month recognizes achievements and contributions of Hispanic Americans. Hispanic Heritage Week was created in 1968 under President Lyndon Johnson and was expanded into a month-long celebration in 1988 by President Ronald Regan. 

This event is free, but does not include museum admission.
