Holland consist of correspondence and other materials primarily related to Holland’s involvement in business and civic affairs in Kansas City, Missouri, and his resulting acquaintance with Harry S. Truman. The collection is arranged in one series and consists of photocopies of original documents from a much larger collection of Holland’s papers at the Western Historical Manuscript Collection, University of Missouri-Kansas City.

Included in the collection is personal correspondence between Lou E. Holland and Harry S. Truman during Truman’s years as County Judge, Senator, and President.
