A grid map detailing the landing at Adak Island in the Aleutian Islands on August 30, 1942. The map is annotated in different colors to show the positions and movement of Clarence Stewart's 2nd Battalion of the 134th Infantry (35th Division) and the 53rd Infantry of the 7th Division. A note on the back reads: "Photo map used by 2 Bn 134 Inf. for initial landing on Adak Island, Alaska, 30 Aug 42, Col. Stewart." Donated by Clarence J. Stewart.
