Description

A National Geographic map titled "Western Europe." The map shows principal railways, highways, canals, principal airports, passes, ruins, and the American, British, French, and Russian occupation zones in post World War II Germany and Austria. Annotations, in pencil and blue ink, mark the movement of Allen White's 110th Engineers during World War I. Areas highlighted are Eu, Dieppe, Amiens, Le Havre, Rouen, Paris, Varennes, Montfaucon, Verdun, St. Mihiel, Lerouville, Commercy, Thiaucourt, Dieulouard, Pont-a-Mousson, Blainville, Epinal, Gerardmer, Remiremont, and La Bresse.
