Description

A print that shows the Kansas City Municipal Airport and Fairfax Airport. At the confluence of the Missouri River and Kansas River, the Kansas City Municipal Airport drawing features engineering notations, the length and width of the runways, the location of the Trans World Airlines building, and other details. The Fairfax Airport drawing highlights the length of the runways and the location of the Administration Building. Handwriting, north of the Fairfax Airport, locates a "Range Station." Also shown on this drawing are levee lines, the U.S. Harbor Line, the Hannibal Bridge, and the Fairfax Bridge.
