Description

A map numbered 16 in a series and titled "Dieppe." The map of northern France shows transportation routes, chateaus, farms, church or chapel towers, forts, quarries, water and wind mills, and lighthouses. Annotations, in black ink, show the positions and movement of the 140th Infantry from Neufchatel to Gamaches. Also noted is the position of the 3rd Battalion of the 140th Infantry at Monchaux. Handwriting on the back reads: "140th Inf., 25+22=47?ɬ¢?¢‚Äö¬¨?Ǭ¶[Illegible]." Attached is a sheet describing this map.
