My dear Nancy,--

I have been waiting quite patiently for a letter from you informing me when you would be here, but my patience is exhausted at last, and I am going to write to you. I want you to set any time that will suit your own convenience and write and tell Lute and Mary so they can come too; all of you come and see me first and I'll go with you to see Lute. I can hardly wait for the time to come. I am so anxious to see all of you. I think it will be so jolly for us to be together again. Sister says for you to be sure and come, if you don't I never will forgive you. I am so glad to be at home again but I guess I'll not get to stay very long; My school has been out almost three weeks, I was awfully glad when it closed, the weather was so dreadfully warm, I don't consider this a letter for I am in a terrible hurry I have so much I want to do. Now Nan, write immediately and tell me when to meet you, and don't fail to let Lute and Mary know. I want all of you to make me a long, long visit. Be certain and come. Give my love to Miss Lida and tell her to come too, I shall expect to see you soon. With much love to your-self, I am

Lovingly yours
