As I didn't get to go home last evening I'll add a few more lines to my letter for I'll have no opportunity of sending it to the office for a week. I have been quite busy all day fixing for my Exhibition. I had to make the curtains for the stage; and my head (or brains rather) are all in a muddle. I had to hunt up all the chaps' pieces to speak and dialogues and tableaux and drill them in speaking and singing until I am sick. Oh Nan! I have found me the cutest fellow. I had never seen him until New Year's day, he and his brother came to visit my school, they spent the afternoon. I am dead gone, he is a brunette and so handsome and nice looking, they are going to assist me in my Exhibition. Won't I have a boss old time? We are to meet twice a week. This has been the most miserable week I ever saw, just poured down rain nearly all the time. How did you spend New Year's day? I taught all day and when those gentlemen came I like to have event up I hadn't seen a boy for so long, I didn't know how to act. I'll have to get broke in again. Nan, write me a long letter real soon. Don't be so long writing and I'll do better next time. I'll not be so busy after school closes and that will not be long, four more weeks. I guess I'll be a little more settled too. Good-by dear, much love to your dear self. Yours, M
