Dear Nannie,-
Iwill [sic] write you a few lines to let you know that it will be impossible for me to visit you this Fall as I am going to a school of Short-Hand and Type-writing and will not be through with it for three months and Ido [sic] not want to miss %There I have made a per cent mark for a period, but I have begun two or three times and Ihave not time to commence again . Iassure [sic] you that there is nothing that would afford me more pleasure than to visit you and be with the girls I begun taking lessons in short-hand about a week ago and like it so much . I am writing this letter at noon while the Prof.has [sic] gone to dinner . Icome [sic] up every other morning on the train and go back in the evening Ihave [sic] to study real hard and not much time for any thing else ,but Iwill [sic] write you a letter before long
Much love to all .Iknow [sic] you will admire this lettervery [sic] much ,but Iwilldo [sic] better next time .Receive much more ,most love for your self
