The Ambassador, who had called to deliver a note on another subject, said he wished to remind us of the fact that his Government was still awaiting action by the United States Government on approval of the Tripartite Commission's Report on the division of German merchant ships. He said this matter had been drawn to Mr. Webb's attention several months ago.
I replied I did not have this matter firmly in my mind but would look into it.
