Meeting with the President
Subject: Meetings with Senators
I reported my conversation with Senator Lodge. The President was interested in this and told me he would set up an appointment for Senator Connally and me early next week.
Although I did not have time to discuss it with him I would like to be reminded that he should see, perhaps together, the Republican members of the Foreign Relations Committee.
