His Excellency Athanassios Politis, newly appointed Ambassador of Greece, called on me this date to present copies of his credentials and to request an appointment with the President.
I welcomed the Ambassador and expressed the Department's pleasure on his appointment. After some general conversation the Appointed Ambassador departed.
No matters of a political nature were discussed.
