Description

Winston Churchill, Britain's former Prime Minster, stands at the podium where he will deliver his famous "Iron Curtain" speech at Westminster College, Fulton, Missouri, where both he and President Harry S. Truman will receive honorary degrees this date. President Truman is sitting directly behind the podium to Churchill's left. Others able to be identified are Dr. Franc McCluer, President of Westminster College, in the front row to Churchill's right. In the second row, behind Mr. Churchill, is Brig. General Harry Vaughan.
