Description

French soldiers march in a Memorial Day parade, passing in front of the Suresnes American Cemetery near Paris, France. On the steps before the entrance is a group of dignitaries and citizens. This photo is part of several photos of "Gold Star" mothers who, accompanied by A. Robert Ginsburgh and other Army officers. The individuals are unidentified, but in the center is A. Robert Ginsburgh. The Suresnes Cemetery contains 1,541 graves. The men buried there died during World War I in hospitals located in Paris or at other places in the Services of Supply.
