Description

Demonstrators from the American League for Peace and Democracy form a picket line in front of the German Consulate in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to protest against Nazi Germany's interference and annexation of the Sudetenland area of Czechoslovakia. An unidentified woman in a gas mask holds a sign reading "Hands Off Czechoslovakia."  From: Photos used in the 1984 Truman Centennial Exhibit.
