Truman descends a ladder from a hatch of a Northrop YB-49 after inspecting the six jet flying wing at a ground display of Air Force fighters and bombers at Andrews Air Force Base during the Air Progress Demonstration. Left is General Robert Landry, the President's Air Force aide. Others in the background are unidentified.
