Description

This is an inscribed photo of Hokkaido, Japan. Inscription reads "Mr. John G. Brannon/Merry X'Mas and Happy New Year/ Yasuji Watanabe/Chief Hokkaido Region/Maritime Safety Board/Eastern End of Japan" Back of photo reads, "I was transferred to here in September this year. Now all my family is well in Hokkaido. I had new baby boy named "Misuji" on 5 November. Mrs. Watanabe asked me to tell you here best regard to you. Hokkaido is now very important for Japan."
