Description

The President of France, Vincent Auriol places a wreath at Lafayette Park in memory of the Marquis de Lafayette, the French nobleman and officer who assisted the United States during the American Revolution. From the Department of State Album: "Visit of His Excellency, Vincent Auriol, President of the French Republic to the United States of America, March 28 to April 4, 1951"
