Description

Unveiling of the statue of Sir John Dill at Arlington National Cemetery. Lady Dill, her daughter, and Major John Dill, Sir John's son, were present at the ceremony. In the front row are, from left to right: unidentified, President Harry S. Truman, and British Ambassador Sir Oliver Franks. In the second row on the right is Secretary of Defense George C. Marshall. Others are unidentified.
