Portrait of John M. Cabot used in his oral history interview. Mr. Cabot was Counselor of Embassy, Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1945-1946, Belgrade, Yugoslavia, 1947; he was appointed career minister, 1948; Consul General, Shanghai, China, 1948-1949; Minister to Finland, 1950-1952; and Ambassador to Pakistan, 1952-1953.
