Description
San Francisco, California. Former President Harry S. Truman, center, pledges full support in a three-way handshake with Rep. Clair Engle, left, Democratic candidate for U. S. Senator, and Edmund "Pat" Brown, right, candidate for Governor of California, here tonight. The occasion was a $100-a-plate fundraising dinner in the Fairmont Hotel. The former president made the first of his 1958 campaign speeches in behalf of Democratic candidates on the Pacific coast. Same as 68-1053, only not touched up (see also 93-265-2).
