Philleo Nash (in middle), the Commissioner of Indian Affairs, in full Indian dress. Photo taken during ceremonies highlighting his adoption into the Red Lake Band of Chippewa Indians. His Indian name will now be Gitchie Ahnishinabee Omega (Great Indian Leader). Roger Jourdain is seen at left with the red sash hanging from his belt.
