Description
General Jonathan Wainwright, back in this country after having been a prisoner of the Japs, finds it is the same America and that he is still a top fan. This collage of pictures made at last night's Washington-Cleveland game shows the General really taking his baseball--and the trimmings that go with it--seriously. Here he is shown being greeted by Senator-Baseball Commissioner Albert B. Chandler, eating a hot dog, scratching his neck, smoking a pipe and a cigarette, and autographing a baseball.
