Description
Comptroller General Lindsay C. Warren holds a copy of the report he made to Congress in which he charged that fraud and waste in wartime contracting had cost American taxpayers millions of dollars. Warren said that his audits of about $1,165,000,000 in contract settlements to date showed irregularities amounting to more than $11,500,000. From: Beth Gore.
