William J. Hopkins (left) being sworn in as Executive Clerk by Justice Richmond B. Keech (right) of the District Court of the United States for the District of Columbia. The ceremony took place in President Harry S. Truman's office with the Chief Executive looking on. Mr. Hopkins succeeds Maurice Latta, who died several weeks ago. From: Beth Gore
