Description
In line with President Truman's appeal to the public to save 100 million bushels of grain in the next nine months, the committee appointed by the President called on Americans to adopt a five-point food conservation program. Charles Luckman, Chairman of the Citizen's Food Committee, is shown with many of the posters to be used in the conservation campaign. From: Beth Gore
