James F. Goode interviewed E.A. Bayne in New Haven, CT, regarding American policies toward Iran in the late 1940s and early 1950s. Former member of the American University Field Staff, Edward A. Bayne was a scholar in the field of political science. His research included diverse countries, but his most extensive research was in the Middle East. He was an acquaintance of multiple Iranian premiers. This interview is two cassettes long.
