Mrs. Truman and Margaret at Truman-Evans dinner

Bess Truman (front row, third from the left) and Margaret Truman (far left) are part of a group gathered for the Truman-Evans dinner held at the Truman Library. Tom Evans was a Kansas City businessman and friend of Harry S. Truman. The photograph is signed: "To Mr. and Mrs. Loeb H. Granoff From Harry S. & Bess W. Truman, 10-31-1959". Margaret Truman receives a porcelain model of the Freedom Bell

During her European tour, Margaret Truman visited Berlin, Germany, where she was received by Mayor Dr. Walther Schreiber and the Protocol Chief, Dr. Busse, at the Schoeneberg Townhall. Dr. Schreiber handed her a porcelain model of the Freedom Bell. She also signed the Golden Guestbook of the city Berlin. Left to right are: Professor Eich, Dr. Busse, Miss Truman, and Dr. Schreiber.
