President Harry S. Truman's remarks to a group of Point Four agriculture trainees. The President spoke at 12:10 p.m. in the Rose Garden at the White House. In the course of his remarks he referred to Henry G. Bennett, Administrator of the Technical Cooperation Administration, Department of State, and former president of Oklahoma A. and M. College, and to Norris E. Dodd, Director General, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.
