Later he referred to Frank Murphy, Associate Justice of the United States Supreme Court, 1940-49, Senator Blair Moody of Michigan, Senator Joseph R. McCarthy of Wisconsin, Arthur H. Vandenberg, Senator from Michigan, 1928-51, and Andrei Vishinsky, Soviet foreign Minister. The address was carried on a nationwide radio and television broadcast.
