The original version of this bombing map of New York was first published by German scientists Eugen Sänger and Irene Bredt-Sänger in Über einen Raketenantrieb für Fernbomber, a German Research Institute for Aviation Secret Command Report, UM 3538 in 1944.

Katyn Forest Victims Reburial

Solemn reburial of the remnants of over four thousand Polish Army Staff Officers whose bodies have been discovered executed (shot in the back of the neck) in a dense forest near the Polish village of Katyn. Polish priest (center, dark robe) celebrates. Villagers herded up to witness. German propaganda staff and foreign correspondents are in background. Responsibility still not definitely established.
