President Harry S. Truman throws out the first ball to open the 1952 baseball season. Right of President Truman are: Clark Griffith, President of the Washington Senators; Admiral William D. Leahy; Stanley "Bucky" Harris, Washington Manager and Lou Boudreau, Boston Manager.
