Roosevelt Memorial Brotherhood Medal from Dr. Comna Asapansa-Johnson, master of ceremonies for his presidential appearance at Dorrance Brooks Park in Harlem. The high point of President Truman's campaign tour was a major address on civil rights in the heart of New York's African American community. President Harry S. Truman pins a star button to General Robert Landry's shoulder. This was his second star as General. He received the pin during President Truman's vacation trip to Key West, Florida.

Labor Department official Robert C. Goodwin, at the time Associate Manpower Administrator for Unemployment Insurance (1969-1974), is shown on the left shaking hands with an unidentified man. Goodwin is being presented a Distinguished Achievement Award. According to Goodwin's appointment book he received the award in part for his work on the Unemployment Insurance bill which represented a significant advance in unemployment insurance.
