Truman with FFA President

John M. Haid, Jr., of Siloam Springs, Arkansas, National President of the Future Farmers of America, present former President Harry S. Truman an honorary American Farmer degree at the FFA's convention held at the Municipal Auditorium, Kansas City, Missouri. The former President addressed the convention after receiving the award.

President Truman with Third Infantry Regiment

In a ceremony at the White House, President Harry S. Truman presents a baton to the Third Infantry Regiment, the oldest organization of its kind in the Army, members of which make up the Presidential Honor Guard in Washington, D. C. Col. William W.
