Building repair and reconstruction

Openings in the north wall near the northeast corner of the White House for tying in large horizontal beams to be installed along the wall. The beams are to be placed above Rooms 23 and 24.

View taken west of the main entrance of the West Executive Office Building to west end of the White House, during the renovation. The temporary wooden structures were erected to provide a roof while workmen were elevating the steel work on the corners of the west end.
