President Harry S. Truman poses in front of a mobile chest x-ray unit which was parked outside his White House office today in connection with a 1952 Christmas Seal sale promotion. This is a photograph of Christmas decorations adorning an entrance to GUM (Glavny Universalny Magazin) Department store on Red Square in Moscow, Russia. Crowds of people can be seen coming in and out of the entrance. GUM was the state owned chain of department stores.
