President Harry S. Truman's remarks to members of the Provisional Intergovernmental Committee for the Movement of Migrants from Europe. The President spoke at 12:05 p.m. in the Rose Garden at the White House. The Third Session of the Provisional Intergovernmental Committee was held in Washington, June 10-13, 1952. The bill referred to by the President, the Supplemental Appropriation Act, was approved July 15 and authorized $9,240,500 for the work of the Committee.
