Washington D. C. Adlai Stevenson, the Democratic standard bearer in the 1956 presidential elections, reaches across the breakfast table today to shake hands with former President Harry S. Truman. Former President Harry S. Truman and his wife, Bess, were photographed here in February, 1958, during a visit to Washington, D. C. Mr. Truman is known truly as a "family man," taking a great delight in the company of his wife, daughter, and other close relatives.
