President Truman Receives Clock and Candelabra from the French Ambassador

President Harry S. Truman (second from left) receives a gift of a clock and two candelabra from the French Ambassador to the United States, Henri Bonnet (second from right). The clock is mounted on a white marble base and is supported by two cupids astride bronze animals. It is the work of sculptor Gouttiere. President Harry S. Truman receives a gift of a clock and two candelabra from the French Ambassador to the United States, Henri Bonnet (second from right). The clock is mounted on a white marble base and is supported by two cupids astride bronze animals. It is the work of sculptor Gouttiere.
