The cadets of West Point Military Academy met the Midshipmen of Annapolis Naval Academy at the Philadelphia Municipal Stadium for their annual football classic. President Harry S. Truman and Mrs. Bess Wallace Truman wave to the crowd from their box shortly after they arrived to watch the game which was won by Army, 38-0.
