President Harry S. Truman's remarks to the members of the Supreme Council, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite. The President spoke at 3:15 p.m. in the Rose Garden at the White House. In the course of his remarks he referred to Norris E. Dodd, Director General, Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations. The Supreme Council, Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite, was holding its biennial session in Washington, October 15-19, 1951.
