President Truman visits Mexico

President Harry S. Truman places a wreath at the base of the monument to the "Heroes of Chapultepec," in memory of Mexican war dead during his visit to Mexico. He is the first U. S. President to visit our southern neighbor while in office. A printed message to Mr. Truman on the photo reads; "They, too, were present in this second that changed the history of two nations.
