This is a signed photograph of Senator Samuel Jackson (left side) holding Senator Harry S. Truman's (right side) hand high after Mr. Truman was chosen as Vice-President at the Chicago Convention. The photo is autographed by Truman: "Best wishes to the greatest chairman the Democrats ever had, from Harry S Truman, U.S.S. Missouri." Original photo has been transferred to the museum collection.

Dewey sign

A photograph of a Thomas E. Dewey sign used during his presidential campaign against President Franklin D. Roosevelt. The sign says "Vote for Dewey and do What Hoover Did", and shows a woman and child standing next to a garbage can.
