The studding in the White House dating from 1815-1818, in the east wall of Room 14 after the lath and plaster were removed.

Northeast view of bathroom b-20, taken during the renovation of the White House. The reddish paper on the wall, covered by the plaster and tile of the bathroom date from 1881. It was then that the bathroom was partitioned off from Room 20.
