Boyle, Assistant to the Chairman of the Democratic National Committee, (second from right) after they arrive in Key West, Florida from Washington, D.C. They were met at Boca Chica Airfield by Naval Aide to the President Captain Robert Dennison (front seat of car). Their airplane can be seen in the background. They flew to Key West to join President Harry S. Truman on a post-election vacation. All others are unidentified.

Ambassador and Mrs. Robert Butler Board the U.S.S. Williamsburg

United States Ambassador to Cuba Robert Butler and his wife board the presidential yacht U.S.S. Williamsburg. First Lady Bess W. Truman, Margaret Truman, and others used the Williamsburg to travel to Havana, Cuba for a day while they were on vacation with President Harry S. Truman in Key West, Florida. The Butlers called upon Mrs. Truman and Miss Truman while they were in Havana.
