Out for his first walk at the U. S. Naval Base at Key West, Florida, is President Harry S. Truman, dressed in his finest tropical duds. Taking a three week vacation, President Truman lost a dollar to his daughter, Margaret, on a bet on the weather. It was not as warm as he had predicted. From: New York Herald Tribune.
