Harry Truman Returns to Washington, D.C. After 1948 Victory

Harry Truman With Others in the Office of Charles S. Murphy

Former President Harry S. Truman is seated at a table in the center of the picture. Seated to the right of him is seated Charles S. Murphy, Mr. Truman's former Special Counselor and Administrative Assistant. The location is Murphy's office in the Pennsylvania Building in Washington, D.C. and the group is working on the testimony Truman will give before the House Banking and Currency Committee. Others in view are not identified.
