Mary Anthony Ridgway ("Penny"), wife of General Matthew B. Ridgway, is escorted on a tour of the USS Manchester by Commander William C. Hughes, its Executive Officer. In the background is Mrs. Aso, daughter of Japan's Premier Yoshida. The Manchester was on a stopover at Yokosuka, Japan enroute to Korea.
